Anne Benaroya

Anne Benaroya is a professional urban planner currently working as an Associate at Urban Strategies Inc. since January 2023. Prior to this role, Benaroya gained experience as an Urban Planner at IBI Group from April 2021 to January 2023, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at TransForm Lab from October 2020 to April 2022. Earlier in career, Benaroya held various positions at the Office of the Auditor General of Ontario, including Audit Supervisor, Senior Auditor, and Auditor from January 2016 to July 2020. Additional experience includes serving as an Audit Professional and Intern at the Office of the Auditor General of Canada in 2015, and as an ESL Teacher with EPIK from August 2012 to August 2014. Academically, Benaroya holds a Master of Planning in Urban Development from Toronto Metropolitan University, a Master of Environmental Science in Conservation and Biodiversity from the University of Toronto, and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Co-operative Biology from Dalhousie University.
