Benjamin Braaten is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Finance Manager at Urban Ventures and Finance Officer at Hospitality House Youth Development, roles held since June 2022 and June 2021, respectively. Previously, Benjamin worked as Senior Staff Accountant at Big Brothers Big Sisters Twin Cities, where responsibilities included managing Accounts Payable and performing reconciliations and financial close workpapers. At CliftonLarsonAllen, Benjamin held positions as Staff Accountant and Accounts Payable Specialist, managing an Accounts Payable team and performing reconciliations for multiple clients. Additional experience includes roles at Green Tree Servicing, The McKnight Foundation, and University of Minnesota. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Metro State University and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota, as well as an Associate of Arts degree from Anoka-Ramsey Community College.
