Yoni Levi has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as the CTO & Co-founder of Urbanico, which they have held since 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist at Viaccess-Orca from 2019 to 2020. Before that, Yoni was a Data Scientist at the Hebrew University Center for Interdisciplinary Data Science Research from 2018 to 2020, where they consulted with researchers on applying data science algorithms to various projects in different domains. Yoni also worked as a Data Scientist at Panoramic Power (now Centrica Business Solutions) from 2017 to 2018, where they analyzed big IoT data signals to find insights related to electricity usage. Yoni's work experience also includes being an ML based algorithmic trading system developer at a stealth-mode startup from 2014 to 2017, where they applied supervised learning techniques to financial data and developed high scale distributed ML pipelines. Prior to that, they worked at Cisco from 2004 to 2014 in various roles, including Software Engineer and Real-Time SW Group Leader, where they developed software solutions and worked on cloud-based services.
From 2002 to 2004, Yoni Levi attended The Open University of Israel and obtained a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science.
