Rambabu Pogiri

Rambabu Pogiri is a seasoned research scientist specializing in crop genetics, currently engaged at UrbanKisaan since January 2020, focusing on hydroponic vertical farming and the selection and breeding of suitable germplasm for hydroponic cultivation adapted to Indian conditions. Prior to this role, Rambabu held positions as Deputy Manager and Senior Research Associate at JK Agri Genetics Limited from December 2006 to January 2020. Educational credentials include a Post Graduate Diploma in Technology Management in Agriculture from ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, an Emerging Leadership Programme at the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, and a Master’s degree in Microbiology from Acharya Nagarjuna University.
