Nicole Mesquita-Mendes is an accomplished architect and academic with extensive leadership experience within the Australian Institute of Architects, serving in various roles including SONA Chair of Advocacy Working Group, Immediate Past President, President, President-Elect, National Vice President, and Representative for Bond University. Nicole's professional background includes positions as an Assistant Designer at Urbis and an Assistant Teaching Fellow at Bond University, along with previous roles as an Architectural Student at Redcoop Architects and Hayball. Nicole holds a Master's degree in Architecture and Project Management and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Bond University, further complemented by leadership experience as Academic Affairs Director at the Bond University Society & Design Students' Association and Secretary at the Abedian School of Architecture.
