Sherman Powell

Sherman Powell is an experienced professional in Building Information Modeling (BIM) with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the National BIM Manager at Urbis since November 2016, Sherman has played a significant role in integrating Autodesk Revit into major projects such as Queens Wharf in the Brisbane CBD. Prior experience includes positions as BIM Manager at DMA Engineers, leading BIM initiatives and staff training, and National Revit BIM, CAD Manager at SPP Group, where Sherman implemented Revit Software across multiple offices. As the Owner Director of POWELL.iT, Sherman specialized in Revit implementation for various engineering sectors. Additional roles at Thomson Adsett Architects and CADWAY DESIGN focused on mentoring staff and enhancing documentation through BIM technologies. Education was completed at TAFE NSW from 2000 to 2003.
