Renae Schmidt

Renae Schmidt, MPH, is a Senior Research Associate at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, where responsibilities include leading mental health and substance research and coordinating the Center for HIV and Research in Mental Health Methods Core. Renae also serves as a Strategic Research Analyst for Overtown Children And Youth Coalition, driving community-based data initiatives and collaboration with cross-sector partners. In addition, Renae functions as a Program Evaluator for Urgent, Inc., overseeing youth program evaluations. Renae's previous experience encompasses various research and teaching roles, including work as a biostatistics teaching assistant and special education paraprofessional, and Renae holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Miami and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from North Dakota State University.
