Vp, Head Of User Experience at Urgently

Jim Sabia has a solid work experience spanning over several years. Jim is currently serving as the VP and Head of User Experience at Urgently since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Umano I/O as the Owner and Design Strategist from July 2016 to January 2020. Jim also held the position of Head of Product UX and Design at United Online, Inc., where they directed the research, design, and development of new mobile products from March 2014 to October 2016. Prior to that, they served in leadership roles at AOL, including Senior Director of Product Experience and Design, and Director of Design. Jim possesses a diverse range of skills and has demonstrated accomplishments in managing product design teams, leading creative processes, and implementing cross-functional design techniques. Before their tenure at AOL, they worked at Ascend Interactive, Edge Technologies, Inc., MRJ Technology Solutions, and Providence Graphics, where they held various design and leadership positions.

Jim Sabia received their Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Virginia Tech - Pamplin College of Business from 1990 to 1995. Jim also pursued a minor in Art with a concentration in Graphic Design at Virginia Tech during the same period. In 1992, they attended Walt Disney World University, where they earned a "Ducktorate" Degree in Business Theories and Practices.
