Donald J. Urgo, Jr.

Since 1998, Don has overseen the hotel management and owner relations components of Urgo Hotels & Resorts’ business. Don’s day-to-day focus and responsibility is on the day-to-day oversight of corporate legal affairs, condo-owner relations, operations and human resources activities for the company’s portfolio of over thirty hotels.

Don previously served as in-house counsel for Integrated Communications Corporation, a privately held firm providing telecommunications and marketing services to the U.S. hotel industry. Don handled all of ICC’s legal and regulatory affairs and negotiated and managed agreements with major telecommunications carriers and customers worth approximately $150 million in annual revenue.

A graduate of the Columbus School of Law, Catholic University of America, Don began his career in private practice as a litigation attorney practicing in the areas of contract and commercial law, torts and workers’ compensation. His clients included Marriott International, Inc.; Bell Atlantic/Verizon; Liberty Mutual Insurance Company; and the Travelers Insurance Company.
