Melissa Y. Sibal

Since joining Urgo in 2002, Melissa has grown through a series of revenue management roles, from the property to regional level, leading up to her latest promotion. She works closely with the Executive Leadership and plays an integral role in stirring and coordinating revenue management efforts and best practices to increase hotels’ market share and deliver optimized revenue.

As a regional director of revenue management from 2007 to 2016, Melissa was responsible for up to a dozen Marriott and Hilton hotels in Washington, D.C., Virginia, Maryland and New York. For five years prior, she served as a property-level director of revenue management for multiple Urgo-managed hotels throughout the mid-Atlantic, Northeast and Canada.

Before joining Urgo, Melissa held a variety of revenue management, operations and reservations positions at Interstate Hotels & Resorts and Hilton Hotels Corporation. She also has an extensive background in property development, sales and marketing, and corporate leasing.

Melissa has a bachelor’s degree in economics.
