Brian Lorenz

Director, Trade and Sales Logistics at UroGen Pharma

Brian Lorenz has a diverse work experience in the field of supply chain and operations management. Brian started their career as a Package Engineering co-op at McNeil Consumer Healthcare in 2003. Brian then joined Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, a Johnson and Johnson company, in 2006, where they held the role of Planning Analyst II and participated in the Operations & Quality Leadership Development Program. In 2009, they moved to Therakos, Inc., another Johnson and Johnson company, as a Senior Supply Chain Analyst, where they played a vital role in the integration of Therakos into Ortho Clinical Diagnostics.

Brian then continued their career at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, formerly known as Therakos, Inc./Johnson & Johnson. Brian served as a Supply Chain Manager from 2012 to 2013 and later became the Director of Supply Chain/Planning/Strategy & Procurement from 2013 to 2014. Following a reorganization in 2014, Brian took on additional responsibility as the Director of Supply Chain/Instrument Operations & Planning, leading a four-person team and overseeing global supply chain activities to support business growth.

In 2017, Brian joined Optinose as the Director of Planning & Logistics. In this role, they managed various supply chain functions and led a team responsible for materials management, procurement, 3PL operations, serialization, freight, inventory planning, safety stock, and capacity planning. Brian also played a critical role in analytics and metrics related to commercial operations, focusing on the management and effectiveness of the preferred pharmacy network. During their tenure at Optinose, Brian also served as the Director of Sales Operations, demonstrating their versatility in sales and operational roles.

Most recently, in 2022, Brian Lorenz joined UroGen Pharma as the Director of Trade and Sales Logistics.

Brian Lorenz has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management from Lehigh University. Brian also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Commerce and Engineering (Operations Management) from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business. In addition, they have a certification as a Certified Process Excellence Green Belt from Johnson & Johnson.
