Christine Chau, BSRC-RRT, MPH, currently serves as the Clinical Research Manager at Urology Austin since November 2023, overseeing multi-site operations. Prior to this role, Christine was the IRB Regulatory & QA Specialist and Clinical Research Team Lead at MediSync from July 2021 to August 2023, where responsibilities included supervising site coordinators, ensuring compliance with protocols and SOPs, and providing training to staff. Christine has also worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator, managing multiple clinical trials focused on infectious diseases and device trials, and served as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and Team Lead at St. David's HealthCare. Earlier experience includes positions as a Laboratory Research Coordinator and Technician at PPD, where oversight of laboratory operations and compliance with FDA regulations were key duties. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health from Lamar University and Bachelor of Science degrees in Respiratory Care Therapy and Biology from Texas State University and The University of Texas at Austin, respectively.

Urology Austin was formed in 2008 following the merger of several independent urology practices. In 2018, Urology Austin and The Urology Team merged to form the largest private urology practice in the Austin metro area. Today, the practice has over 50 healthcare providers, 18 area locations, plus a centrally located radiation center. Our physicians and advanced practice providers treat female urology, male urology and general urology patients. We also have a growing team of pelvic floor Physical Therapists. Urology Austin providers are committed to staying at the forefront of the latest technologies, medical knowledge, surgical techniques, and advanced treatment options. Our comprehensive medical approach includes a nationally accredited in-house pharmacy, a nationally accredited in-house pathology laboratory, clinical research department, patient navigation programs and the Austin Center for Radiation Oncology.
