Matthias Hofer

Matthias Hofer is a Urologist at Urology San Antonio since October 2020, with previous experience as an Assistant Professor of Urology at Northwestern Medicine from September 2016 to October 2020. Matthias completed a fellowship in Urologic Trauma, Reconstruction, and Prosthetics at UT Southwestern Medical Center from July 2015 to June 2016, and underwent residency in Urology at Northwestern University from July 2009 to June 2015. Prior to this, Matthias served as a Resident in Anatomic Pathology at Brigham and Women's Hospital from July 2006 to June 2009 and worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harvard University from October 2002 to June 2006. Matthias obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine from Ulm University, where studies were completed from 1995 to 2002.
