Lixiao Wang

Lixiao Wang has a strong background in the medical field, with extensive experience as a founder, CEO, and CTO. LIXIAO is the founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Tonic Medical Inc, a role they have held since September 2022. Prior to that, they were the CEO, CTO, and founder of Airiver Medical Inc, GIE Medical Inc, and Neurotronic Inc. LIXIAO also served as the founder, CTO, and Chairman of Urotronic, Inc. In addition, Lixiao Wang held the positions of President and CEO at King Meditech and CTO/Co-Founder at Lutonix, Inc. LIXIAO has further experience as the Director of Research and Development at ev3 and as a Manager and Fellow at Boston Scientific. Lixiao Wang began their career as a Senior Scientist at SCIMED Life Systems in 1990.

Lixiao Wang holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physical Chemistry, which was obtained from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 1983 and 1988. Prior to that, from 1978 to 1982, Wang pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Polymer Science and Engineering at the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Academia Sinica, China. Wang's educational journey started at Nanjing University, where between 1974 and 1978, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Polymer Chemistry.
