Chris Wilkins

Chris Wilkins is an experienced aerospace engineer with a robust background in turbomachinery development. Currently serving as the Director of Turbomachinery at Ursa Major since January 2022, Chris leads the Turbomachinery team across all engine platforms and has previously held key roles including Senior Manager and Principal Engineer at the same company. Prior experience includes significant positions at SpaceX, where Chris led the development of turbo pumps for the Raptor engine, and at Honeywell, managing global engineering teams dedicated to turbine stage aerodynamic and structural development. Chris holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southampton.
