Lucas Reed

Lucas Reed is an experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in avionics design, currently employed at Ursa Major since April 2022. Prior to this role, Lucas worked at Ball Aerospace from February 2018 to April 2022, starting as an Electrical Engineering Technical Intern and advancing to Electrical Engineer 1, focusing on power and analog design engineering. Key projects included compressor motor driver design and power regulation for FPGAs. Additional internships and positions include work at Autodesk and various roles with the Colorado Space Grant Consortium, where Lucas contributed to solar energy systems and satellite power systems. Lucas holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, obtained in 2017.
