Tyler then moved on to Industrial Commercial Systems, Inc., where they worked as an HVAC Installer from 2007 to 2009. Tyler later joined SpaceX in 2011 as a Propulsion Manufacturing Engineer, where they contributed to the development and manufacturing of rocket engines. Tyler also served as a Process Engineer in the production department, establishing process controls to optimize tube bending and reduce scrap material.

In 2014, Tyler became a Senior Propulsion Manufacturing Engineer at SpaceX, focusing on research and development projects. Tyler played a key role in improving designs and manufacturing processes to enhance reliability and reduce costs.

After working at SpaceX, Tyler joined Blue Origin in 2016 as a Manufacturing Development Engineer. Tyler was responsible for the facility build-out of an Additive Manufacturing factory and contributed to finding advanced manufacturing methods to replace existing engine components.

Most recently, Tyler worked at Ursa Major as a Manufacturing Engineer, progressing to Principal Manufacturing Engineer. Tyler played a crucial role in the development and production of engine components, including leading the manufacturing process of the Ripley engine and providing technical guidance to the manufacturing team. Tyler also managed facilities and expansion projects for the company.
