Jeffrey Barrett, GISP, GPC-F, CSM

Jeffrey Barrett has a background in geospatial intelligence and project management. Jeffrey currently works as a Special Projects Engineer at Ursa Space Systems. Prior to that, they served as a GEOINT OIC in the U.S. Army Reserve. Jeffrey also has experience as a Lead Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they managed geospatial data and technical aspects of projects for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). Additionally, Jeffrey served as a Captain in the Army National Guard, specializing in intelligence and previously as an infantry platoon leader. Jeffrey has completed various military courses and holds certifications in anti-terrorism, maneuver, and military intelligence.

Jeffrey Barrett, GISP, GPC-F, CSM has an extensive education history. Jeffrey obtained a Master's Degree in Business Analytics with a Data Science concentration from Bentley University between 2015 and 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Political Science and Criminal Justice at Northeastern University from 2000 to 2005.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Jeffrey has also acquired several certifications. In 2017, they obtained the GEOINT Professional Certification - Fundamentals from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. Furthermore, they achieved the GISP certification from the GIS Certification Institute in June 2020. Jeffrey also obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance in September 2020.
