Simon Sebastian Räsch

Simon Sebastian Räsch has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Simon Sebastian is currently serving as the Head of Manufacturing Sterile Semi-Solids at URSAPHARM Arzneimittel GmbH since May 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Deputy Head of Manufacturing Sterile Semi-Solids at the same company from November 2018 to May 2022. Before joining URSAPHARM Arzneimittel GmbH, Simon worked as an Assistant to the Head of Production at the company from September 2016 to November 2018.

Simon's earlier work experience includes a role as a Research Fellow at the Helmholtz Institute for Pharmaceutical Research Saarland from May 2015 to August 2016. Before this, they worked as a Research Fellow at Saarland University, Saarbruecken from August 2012 to April 2015. Simon started their career as a Trainee Pharmacist at Stengel-Apotheke from December 2011 to May 2012.

From 2007 to 2012, Simon attended Universität des Saarlandes, where they pursued a degree in Pharmacy. Simon Sebastian completed their studies and obtained the degree of Pharmacist (Apotheker).

In 2011, Simon also attended The University of Auckland for a brief period, during which they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Diplom-Pharmazeut) with a specialization in Ophthalmology.

Following their initial studies, Simon re-enrolled at Universität des Saarlandes and pursued a Doctorate of Natural Sciences (Dr. rer nat.) in the field of Pharmaceutical Technology. Simon Sebastian started in 2012 and completed their doctoral studies in 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Simon obtained a certification as a Specialized Pharmacist for Pharmaceutical Technology (Fachapotheker für Pharmazeutische Technologie) from Apothekerkammer Des Saarlandes in August 2016.
