Bill Sklar

VP of Client and Technology Services at UrVenue

Bill Sklar has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Bill started their career as a Managing Editor at Bolton Research Corporation in 1989 and worked there until 1991. Bill then transitioned into the field of graphic design, working as an Artist at Presentation Graphics from 1991 to 1993, followed by a role as a Graphic Artist at GES Exposition Services from 1994 to 1997.

In 1997, Sklar joined Paulson Gaming Supplies as a Graphic Designer and stayed with the company until 2000.

In 2000, Sklar joined MGM Resorts International as a Director of Data Solutions, where they were responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining an enterprise-wide data warehouse solution. Bill held various roles at MGM Resorts, including Reporting and Analytics Manager, Director of Performance Integration, Manager - Finance Projects, and Director of Data Solutions, until 2015. In 2017, Sklar joined Hakkasan Group as an Executive Director of Data Solutions and Loyalty, overseeing the business oversight and management of the company's data warehouse. Bill also developed partnerships with various teams to enable operational improvements and analytic capabilities.

From 2017 to 2021, Sklar worked at MGM Resorts International in various roles, including Executive Director of Finance Systems Administration Services and Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives. In these positions, they were involved in the implementation of an Oracle ERP system, data governance activities, and finance systems support.

Most recently, Sklar joined UrVenue in 2021 as the Senior Director of IT and Engineering, before transitioning to their current role as the VP of Client and Technology Services in January 2022.

Bill Sklar obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Temple University, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. Prior to attending Temple University, Bill Sklar attended Marple Newtown from 1983 to 1985, but there is no information provided regarding a degree or field of study.
