Andy Rowland

Andy Rowland, MD, FACEP, currently serves as the Medical Operations Officer for the AHN Emergency Medicine Institute at Allegheny Health Network since August 2023, representing the institute on the system-wide Medical Operations team and serving as core faculty for the Department of Emergency Medicine at AHN Saint Vincent. From November 2014, Andy has held the position of System Medical Director at US Acute Care Solutions, contributing as a regional Emergency Department Medical Director while also engaging in various roles, including hospital and medical executive committees. Andy's military service includes tenure in the Army Reserve from August 2008 to April 2021. Prior experience includes working as a Project Coordinator at Epic from 2006 to 2008, focusing on clinical workflows and specialty content. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine degree from Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine, a residency in Emergency Medicine at AHN Allegheny General Hospital, and a Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
