Keith Benson

Keith Benson serves as the Assistant Medical Director for Virtual Urgent Care at US Acute Care Solutions since April 2023. With a robust background in emergency medicine, Keith has also been the Assistant Director for The Cutting Edge, a national cadaver-based emergency medicine skills lab, at the Center for Emergency Medical Education since October 2018 and has worked as a Physician Assistant in emergency medicine since December 2013 at EPPH. Keith's extensive experience began as a Critical Care Technician at Centura Health from May 2002 to August 2011 and included a brief role as a Hot Shot with the US Forest Service in 2001. Keith's education includes a Doctor of Medical Science degree from the University of Lynchburg, obtained in 2023, a Master of Science in Medical Science from Saint Francis University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Colorado Denver.
