Paul Mochmer

Director, APPs, USACS South at US Acute Care Solutions

Paul Mochmer, DSc -EM, PA-C, is a regional director of Advanced Practice Providers for US Acute Care Solutions in south-central Texas. His region covers approximately 9,600 square miles in the heart of central Texas, from Waco to Austin. He is responsible for multiple hospital systems (Seton, Ascension, and CHI St. Joseph) with 12 suites consisting of 4 service lines – Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist Medicine, Observation, and Critical Care. Previously, Paul served in the U.S. Army for 28 years and retired as a program director for the U.S. Army-Baylor Emergency Medicine PA Doctoral Program at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center.

Paul is a member and volunteer of a variety of organizations including SEMPA, AAPA, and TAPA.

He earned a Bachelor’s and a Master’s of physician assistant studies from the University of Nebraska and a Doctorate in physician assistant studies with a focus in Emergency Medicine from Baylor University.
