Marivic Penman has a strong background in financial management and accounting. Marivic has held various leadership positions in the US Air Force Services, including Acting Director of a Shared Service Center and Chief of the Resource Management Flight. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and improving processes. Marivic also provided financial guidance and analysis, implemented internal controls, and managed budgets for multiple Air Force NAF instrumentalities. Marivic Penman has a demonstrated ability to efficiently manage financial operations and achieve mission success.
Marivic Penman has a strong educational background in the field of Business and Management. Marivic obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of the Philippines in 1982. Marivic further pursued their education by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Arkansas Grantham in 2017. In 2014, Marivic enrolled in the University of Phoenix to pursue another Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, which is currently ongoing.
Aside from their degrees, Marivic Penman has also acquired additional certifications. In 1982, they became a Certified Public Accountant. Later in 2018, they obtained the Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) certification from the Association of Military Comptrollers.
