Michael Bernell

Michael Bernell, MD, is an experienced anesthesiologist currently serving at US Anesthesia Partners since September 2021. In addition, Michael holds the position of Director of Pediatric Anesthesia Services and Pediatric Anesthesiologist at The Children's Hospital at OU Medicine since November 2017. Michael previously served as Chief of Anesthesiology at Nashville General Hospital from January 2016 to March 2020 and worked as a Pediatric Anesthesiologist at Epix Healthcare during the same period. Michael completed a Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from August 2014 to July 2015 and was a Resident Physician in the Department of Anesthesiology at Rush University from July 2011 to June 2014. Michael also completed a residency in General Surgery at The Methodist Hospital System from July 2010 to June 2011. Michael earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch between 2006 and 2010 and a Bachelor of Arts in History from The University of Texas at Austin from 2002 to 2005.
