Melinda Rogers

Melinda Rogers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in communications and media relations, currently serving as a Community Relations Specialist at USCIS since July 2024. Prior to this role, Melinda held the position of Senior Communications Strategist at Vanderbilt University, where responsibilities included supporting university mission communications and managing content strategy. Melinda's previous experience encompasses various leadership roles at the University of Utah, including Director of Editorial, Media & Content Strategy, where Melinda successfully rebuilt the communications department, and Media Relations Manager, where strategic communication plans were developed. Early career highlights include serving as a Communications Specialist at University of Utah Health, as well as reporting and editing positions at The Salt Lake Tribune and other publications. Melinda holds a BA in Journalism and Spanish from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Utah.
