Mike Hughes

Mike Hughes has a strong background in product management and engineering. Mike started their career at AMP Incorporated in 1993, where they gained experience in product management and product engineering. In 2000, they joined US Conec Ltd. as a Product Manager and steadily progressed through various roles, including Materials Manager, Application Engineering Manager, Sr. Product Manager, and Director of Product Management. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Product Management at US Conec Ltd., where they oversee product management, applications engineering, and marketing teams for the company's global business. Their work at US Conec is focused on providing high-density optical interconnect components that enable high-bandwidth systems such as hyper-scale cloud computing, core routing of the internet, and fiber to the home.

Mike Hughes earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, attending from 1990 to 1994. Mike later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Wake Forest University School of Business, studying from 1997 to 2000.
