April Richards serves as the EPA SBIR Program Manager at the US Environmental Protection Agency, where responsibilities include managing a program that provides seed funding to small businesses aimed at commercializing innovative technologies to support the agency's mission of protecting human health and the environment. Prior to this role, April Richards was a Legis Fellow on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee at The Brookings Institution. April Richards holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Tufts University and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Miami.
