Brian Gross

Brian Gross is an experienced environmental scientist currently serving as a Brownfields Project Officer at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) since July 2011, where responsibilities include working with local governments on environmental site assessments and cleanup projects. From October 2003 to July 2011, Brian held the role of RCRA Enforcement & Compliance Officer, overseeing state enforcement programs and conducting over 150 inspections under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. Brian's expertise also includes a brief role as an International Exchange Fellow at the U.S. Department of State, providing policy analysis for Ghana's extractive industries. Brian's early career includes service as an Agroforestry Volunteer in the Peace Corps in Haiti, focusing on agriculture and environmental projects. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Science from Duke University, complemented by minors in Geology and History.
