Brian Lewis has extensive experience in geology and environmental protection, primarily with the California Department of Toxic Substances Control, where contributions included roles as a Senior Engineering Geologist from 1985 to 2018 and as a retired staff member thereafter. Brian served as the State Representative for California on the Groundwater Forum Technical Support Project for the US EPA since 1999, focusing on hazardous waste site remediation. Prior roles included Board Member and Past President of the Groundwater Resources Association of California and membership on the National Groundwater Task Force for the US EPA. Brian's career began with engineering geology positions at the California Department of Water Resources and the State Water Resources Control Board. Academic credentials include an A.B. in Geology with an Emphasis in Water Resources from Occidental College.
