Dan Coogan

Dan Coogan currently serves as the Deputy Assistant Administrator for Infrastructure and Extramural Resources at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), a position that entails overseeing critical asset management, procurement, grants management, and the execution of national programs within the Office of Mission Support. Coogan's extensive experience at the EPA includes roles such as Director and Acting Director of Resources and Business Operations, where responsibilities involved the implementation of major legislative acts, management of significant hiring initiatives, and optimization of operational standards. Previous positions also encompass managing multi-million dollar budgets and leading program analyses that significantly improved efficiency. Coogan holds a BA in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, along with an MPP and a PhD in Race, Ethnicity and Public Policy from The George Washington University.
