National Program Manager, EPA National Library Network at US Environmental Protection Agency

Deborah Balsamo has extensive experience in library management within federal and academic settings, currently serving as the National Program Manager for the EPA National Library Network at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency since November 2003. Balsamo previously held the position of Federal Library Manager at the Research Triangle Park, NC, and has managed the EPA Library Network since 2007. Prior experience includes serving as Library Director (Contractor) for the U.S. EPA Library at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1998 to 2003 and as a Librarian/Funding Opportunities Specialist at Duke University in 1998. Balsamo's education includes a Master's Degree from the UNC School of Information and Library Science and a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies with a focus on Arts Management from Florida Atlantic University, alongside leadership training from the Federal Executive Institute.
