Sarah Gruza is an Environmental Protection Specialist with the US Environmental Protection Agency since October 2020. Previously, Sarah held roles at the Washtenaw County Health Department as a Vector Borne Surveillance and Prevention Intern, and at the U.S. Geological Survey as a Program Assistant, where Sarah contributed to climate adaptation research projects. Sarah's experience includes serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer, where focus was placed on youth development and community activism, along with various internships in health and environmental agencies. Sarah obtained a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Environmental and Occupational Health from the University of Arizona and holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Services from Grand Valley State University.
