Kai Austin is an experienced professional in the fields of software development and education, currently serving as a Graphic Design and Web Instructor at Computer Systems Institute since July 2024. As the Founder and Fullstack Developer for Topic Boston Tours, Kai is developing a self-guided tour app and also manages Nightstand. With a background as a Tour Guide for US Ghost Adventures since October 2020 and as a Full Stack Javascript and UX/UI Developer at Supernature until October 2023, Kai has demonstrated expertise in various technical roles. Previous positions include Software Engineer and Front End/UI Architect at Centage, where significant contributions were made to application scalability and UI feature creation, as well as early entrepreneurial efforts with Wriget. Kai has also held instructional roles at Olin College of Engineering, teaching mobile app development and web design. Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering and language studies at Genki Japanese Language and Culture School.
