Karen Saldana

Karen Saldana has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Karen currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at US HealthTek, where they are responsible for establishing policies and procedures, overseeing daily operations, and driving profitable growth. Prior to this, Karen worked at BioReference Laboratories as Director of Program Management, where they managed new product launches and optimized laboratory processes. Karen also spent a significant portion of their career at Quest Diagnostics, where they held various roles, including Senior QMS Program Manager, Project Manager-Client Services, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and Medical Technologist. In these roles, Karen led teams, executed projects, and implemented process improvements utilizing Six Sigma methodologies. Additionally, Karen worked as a Lean Six Sigma Consultant at George Group (now part of Accenture), where they contributed to the Army's culture of continuous improvement.

Karen Saldana has a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland. Karen also has a Master of Science degree in Bioinformatics from George Mason University. In addition to their degrees, Karen has obtained certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute and Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) from ASQ - World Headquarters.
