Roger Barnes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies in the logistics industry.

Roger currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Operations at US Logistics Solutions, a role they began in February 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of the West Region at the same company from May 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining US Logistics Solutions, Barnes worked at Forward Air Solutions, where they held the position of DFW District Manager from July 2020 to May 2021. Roger also served as the Dedicated Operations Manager from August 2016 to July 2020.

Barnes gained significant experience at Integrity Retail Distribution, where they served as the Southwest Regional Manager from July 2010 to August 2016. Prior to this, they held the role of Dallas Terminal Manager from April 2009 to July 2010.

At FedEx Ground, Barnes held various managerial roles. Roger served as an Assistant Hub Manager from June 2006 to September 2008, overseeing a large distribution hub and managing a team of over 350 employees. Roger also served as a Regional Preload Quality Manager from February 2004 to June 2006, where they developed staffing models and audited preload operations across multiple facilities. In addition, Barnes held the position of Special Assignment Manager from February 2002 to February 2004, where they focused on improving customer service and resolving issues.

Barnes began their career at FedEx Ground / RPS Inc. as a Service Manager from February 1997 to August 1998. Roger then advanced to the role of Sort Manager from August 1998 to September 1999, overseeing sort operations and maintaining production and quality standards. Finally, they served as a Senior Manager from September 1999 to February 2002, taking overall responsibility for operations, sales, and recruitment.

Throughout their career, Barnes has demonstrated expertise in operations management, team leadership, and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.

Roger Barnes attended the University of Central Arkansas from 1989 to 1994, where they studied music, English, and political science. Roger then went on to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock from 1995 to 1996, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in music and a minor in English.
