Changhan Jun has worked in various roles since 2003. Changhan started as an Associate Engineer at sk altec, then moved to Mechanical Engineer at Samsung Engineering in 2011. From 2011 to 2017, Jun worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins University, where they focused on medical robotics, hardware design/manufacturing, mechatronics/robot control, medical device/instrument design, computer integrated surgery algorithms, and robot control algorithm/software development. In 2017, Jun began a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Northwestern University - The Feinberg School of Medicine. Changhan currently holds the role of Director of Robotics R&D at US Medical Innovations, LLC since 2018.
Changhan Jun attended The Johns Hopkins University from 2011 to 2017, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Robotics and Mechanical Engineering. Changhan also obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology between 2008 and 2010. Additionally, they obtained a CNC lathe craftman certification from HRD Korea in November 2003.
