Cal Cisneros

Cal Cisneros is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse background in military and engineering roles. Since May 2019, Cal has served as a Nuclear Submarine Officer in the US Navy, exemplifying leadership as Program Manager and securing the 2023 Battle Excellence Award for USS Pasadena. Previous experiences include internships at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, where research on satellite imaging was conducted, and GE Power, where turbine testing was led. Currently, as an Assistant Professor of Naval Science at Rutgers University, Cal focuses on developing curricula in Naval Science, Engineering, and Leadership while achieving a 100% pass rate for students in Naval Reactors screening exams. Cal holds an honors degree from the United States Naval Academy with a GPA of 3.76.
