CAPT Tatana Olson

CAPT Tatana Olson currently serves as the Commanding Officer of the Naval Submarine Medical Research Laboratory. With extensive experience in military and academic settings, Tatana has held significant roles including Acting Chief of Staff at the Defense Health Agency and Deputy Director at the Naval Aerospace Medical Research Laboratory. Tatana's past positions include Personnel Consultant for the Lafayette Police Department and Special Assistant to the Chief of Naval Operations during the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell. Holding a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Purdue University, Tatana has also contributed to research in military education and the psychological well-being of service members.
