Chester Heer

Chester Heer is a US Navy Officer (Reservist) since December 2024, providing operational support as a watch stander in the Navy Operations Center and administrative support to the OPNAV Reserve Component. Previously, Chester served as a Senior Manager at Bain & Company from December 2020 to September 2025, leading over 20 multi-million dollar strategy consulting projects across defense, aerospace, and other sectors, while consistently ranking in the top 20-30% of peers and winning the firm's annual "Results Challenge" in 2023. Chester's earlier roles in the US Navy spanned from 2012 to 2020, including Team Manager and Intelligence Briefer with the Submarine Warfare Operations Research Division and various officer positions aboard the USS Oklahoma City, where Chester was recognized as Junior Officer of the Year in 2017. Chester holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture from the United States Naval Academy.
