Chris Adams

Chris Adams has extensive experience in the U.S. Navy, currently serving as Director of Officer Development at the Naval Service Training Command since September 2022 and as Deputy Commander for the Naval Reserve Officers' Training Corps (NROTC) since June 2020. Responsibilities include overseeing the training and commissioning of future naval officers at 78 affiliated units nationwide. Previous roles include Commanding Officer at NROTC Chicago and Professor of Naval Science at Northwestern University and Illinois Institute of Technology, along with various leadership positions aboard the USS Stethem and USS Mobile Bay. Chris Adams holds a Master's degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College and a Bachelor's degree in History with Honors from the United States Naval Academy.
