Edward Johnston

Edward Johnston, CPP, has extensive experience in payroll and business systems analysis, currently serving as Product Team Lead at the US Navy since September 2020, focusing on the implementation of the Navy NP2 Personnel and Pay programs. As the Owner and Managing Member of Cadence Integrations since January 2005, Edward has led various projects. Previous roles include Sr. Business Systems Analyst and Interim Payroll Director at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland, where responsibilities included coordinating ADP payroll interfacing with PeopleSoft and resolving Go Live issues. Additional positions involved senior consulting roles in payroll and benefits across multiple organizations, including Public Health Institute, Kelly Services, Toyota Motor Corporation, Community Transit, and Portland Public Schools. Edward holds a degree from Texas Tech University, earned from 1987 to 1991.
