J.T. Malcolm

Corpsman, Chief Petty Officer

J.T. Malcolm, NRP, DMT, serves as the Commander of Professional Development at Wake County EMS, where they utilize their extensive experience as a paramedic, corpsman, and instructor. J.T. previously worked as a Training Captain and Paramedic with Wake County, and they currently teach Tactical Combat Casualty Care as a TCCC Instructor with the US Navy. They have also served as an adjunct instructor at Wake Technical Community College. J.T. is pursuing an Associate of Applied Sciences in Emergency Medical Science, a Master of Public Health in Disaster Management from Tulane University, and a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medical Care at Western Carolina University.
