COMMANDER Jean G. Mathurin, M.D., MPH, served in the US Navy from 2010 to 2019, where they held positions as Attending Physician and Senior Medical Officer / Flight Surgeon. Jean completed a residency in Aerospace Medicine and served as Attending Physician of Family Medicine at Naval Hospital Yokosuka. Prior to their military service, Jean was a Professor of Human Physiology at the College of Staten Island from 2008 to 2010. They earned their Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine and possess a Bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of South Florida.
