John Love

John Love is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in emergency medicine and healthcare management. From January 2009 to July 2014, John served as the Chairman of the Emergency Department at the U.S. Navy, overseeing advanced emergency medical care for 70,000 patients annually and directing a significant renovation and expansion of the facility. Prior to that role, John held the position of Director of Medical Services, managing 12 departments and 775 personnel while providing a wide range of healthcare services to 22,000 enrolled beneficiaries. Additionally, John contributed to the training of healthcare professionals as a Clinical Trauma Training Instructor. Since December 2007, John has co-founded and managed Before-N-After Weightloss & Wellness Centers, establishing a leading medical weight-loss and aesthetic practice in Southern California. Currently, John operates as a Staff Physician in the Division of Urgent Care/Emergency Medicine at Scripps Clinic Medical Group, Inc., a role held since May 2016. John holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, earned between 1994 and 1998.
