Mark Childress

Mark Childress is an experienced executive currently serving as the Branch Head of Facility Support Contracts within the Public Works Division at NAVFAC MIDLANT for the US Navy. With 20 years of leadership in diverse, complex organizations, Mark has developed strong strategic and operational capabilities, managing responsibilities that include budgets of up to $50 million and military assets valued at up to $80 million. Previously, Mark held roles such as Plans Officer at FORSCOM, Current Operations Officer at the Pentagon, and Battalion Commander in the US Army. Mark earned a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and Engineering Management from the University of Missouri-Rolla and a Master's Degree in Theater Operations from the School of Advanced Military Studies.
