Thomas Kleier, MPHTM, PhD, is a skilled medical entomologist currently serving in the US Navy. Previous experience includes a doctoral candidacy at Texas A&M University from June 2018 to August 2022, and various roles in academic support and research at Tulane University, focusing on mosquito metabolic processes and vector control. Thomas has demonstrated leadership as the head coach for JV Men's Lacrosse at Central Catholic High School and held significant positions in student organizations at DePaul University, including President of the Men's Lacrosse team. Other notable experiences include internships at Make-A-Wish® Illinois and contributions to the New Orleans Mosquito, Rodent and Termite Control Board. With a solid background in public health and entomology, Thomas has actively engaged in community education and outreach regarding mosquito control and disease prevention.
