Rick Siders

Rick Siders is a seasoned legal and security professional with extensive experience in various high-stakes roles. Currently serving as Special Advisor to the Director at the U.S. Secret Service since June 2011, Rick Siders excels in providing cross-functional support within the Protective Intelligence Division and has a strong background in intelligence and law enforcement legal issues. Prior to this role, Rick Siders held positions within the United States Navy, including Maritime and Legal Engagements Staff Judge Advocate, where expertise in Rule of Law and Human Rights was developed, and as Officer in Charge in Detention Operations, providing critical legal mentorship. Additional experience includes serving as an Attorney Advisor at the U.S. Department of Education, where Rick Siders focused on civil rights compliance, and as a Corporate Litigator at Baker Donelson, managing complex labor and environmental law issues. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, a Master of Criminal Justice from Boston University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis.
