Terry Tate has over 28 years of experience in law enforcement, beginning with a role as a Police Officer at the Selma Police Department from December 1993 to April 1995, where responsibilities included patrolling, responding to calls, and conducting investigations. Since joining the U.S. Secret Service in April 1995, Terry Tate has held several significant positions, including Special Agent and Primary Instructor in Fraud, specializing in training new agents on financial fraud investigations, and assignments in various divisions focused on the protection of high-profile individuals, including the Vice President. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Arts in the same field from The University of Alabama.
