Heather Walker Serverson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Heather began their career as a Grad Assistant Field Hockey Coach at The College of New Jersey from August 2000 to June 2002. Concurrently, they worked as the Athletic Director, Physical Education Teacher, and Soccer Coach at The American Boychoir School from September 2002 to August 2004. Afterwards, they became a Master Trainer at Momentum Physical Therapy & Fitness, where they worked from August 2000 to July 2008. In 2006, Heather joined Princeton Public Schools NJ as a Health and Physical Education Teacher, specializing in teaching a wide range of students, including those with diverse learning needs. Heather also held the positions of Head Field Hockey Coach and Assistant Varsity Field Hockey Coach at Princeton Public Schools NJ from August 2008 onwards. Additionally, Heather served as a Field Hockey Coach at US Sports Camps starting from July 2015. Currently, they hold the role of Nexus Coach at USA Field Hockey, starting from March 2022. Throughout their various roles, Heather's focus has been on teaching and coaching athletes, fostering teamwork and leadership skills, and contributing to the overall physical and mental development of their students and players.

Heather Walker Serverson holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Cardiac - Metabolic Rehab / Exercise Science from Temple University. Heather also has a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Health Education from The College of New Jersey.

Additionally, Heather possesses several certifications including a USA Field Hockey Level 2 Coaching Certification obtained in July 2018 and a USA Field Hockey Level 1 Coaching Certification obtained in August 2017. Heather is also a Certified K-12 Health and PE Teacher, certified by the New Jersey Department of Education since April 2004.

Heather has also obtained certifications such as the Positive Coaching Alliance - Double Goal Coach Certification and a Safe Sport Certification from the U.S. Center for SafeSport. The specific obtained months and years for these certifications were not provided.
